The first step for us is to help our potential partner to overcome the natural fear and the uncertainty. Once the course is over, we look back and smile.
Because It is hard to express the degree of satisfaction that feels by both parts when the class is full, the expectations are covered and the feedbacks are simply......superlative.

Our models of organizing Maternity Reflexology courses are made and tailored to partner practitioners, organizations, associations, schools, hospitals, birth centers who wish to host a Maternity Reflexology education and make a profit of it.

In order to help you with the process of hosting a course, please read the following FAQ´s

1. What’s the Process for Hosting a Course?

We offer flexible scheduling but it helps to call two to three months in advance to properly promote and schedule your class.

A memo of understanding will be developed between your organization and Maternity Reflexology that discusses fees and all workshop details.

2. What Equipment and Space is Needed?

Classroom must be big enough in order to host a a group of people in the range of 10 to 20 people who work with simplicity and comfort.

It is important that the venue you choose has the following characteristics:

- Natural light (preferably, but not mandatory)
- Comfortable
- Well equipped
- Well communicated / easy to reach with public transportation / good parking facilities
- Catering available within short walking distance and at affordable prices

Host client provides:

Classroom with white board or other writing surface (flipchart)
Optional (Never mandatory): Television with DVD / PowerPoint projector system / Large Screen

CD Player + Relaxation music

Couches/ LaFumas/ Exercise mats (usually provided by attendants)
(If the course is hosted in a hotel with no parking facilities, therefore difficult to carry recliners or massage tables, no worries. We can set the massage tables with their help. Ask as how...).

Fit balls (Not mandatory)

Snacks for students during breaks – your choice.

Not all classes need everything on this list and we can improvise if something is missing!

3. What kind of venue is the ideal venue for a course?

Every venue can be the ideal venue for a course
and in fact the list of different kind of venues where this course was delivered is long and varied. Up to now, courses have been delivered in yoga centers, clinics, Reflexology training schools, the backyard of a church, a Buddhist shrine, the meeting room of a hotel, a birth center, the Faculty of Medicine of a University campus, a private house, a monastery, a modern conference centre, a community centre, etc…

What makes a place suitable is the combination of many factors like:
size of room, facilities, accessibility and convenience, parking facilities, natural light, comfort, and obviously cost of hiring the space.
None person will be more indicated than you who can suggest us the right place where to hold the course, so we trust on your choices. However, we kindly invite you to share all your thoughts with us so we can evaluate together pros and cons and decide for  to the best choice.

4. What is the Course Schedule?

Classes typically begin between 9:00-9:30 a.m. and conclude between 5:30 and 7 p.m. with a one hour lunch break and two coffee/tea  breaks. The course normally takes place from Friday afternoon (4:30 to 8:30 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday.

Some classes can range from 2-3 days in length. Schedules can be adapted to meet your group needs. Schedules and equipment needs vary according to the class you host.

5. What do the attendants Need?

Casual clothes, exercise clothes and shoes, towel, cream/talc for treatment, a couch or recliner (one per couple).

6. How will the attendants get to my Site?

If they didn't contact us already through our website www.materntiyreflexology.net, we kindly ask you to refer them to us, so they can learn aspects of the course before they register. This aspect is usually very helpful when there arise issues like matching expectations about the course contents, etc. Feedbacks from 92% of the attendants in the last 120 courses show that the course has not only fulfilled their expectations, but also exceeded them.

7. Who schedules our travel?

We schedule our own travel. We are happy to stay where you recommend. We like to arrive the day prior to the workshop and meet with you the  evening or the morning of the first day of class. Please provide us with directions and any special information concerning your facility.

8. How much time do I need to organize a course?

Two to three months lead time is preferred for preparation and travel. Generally, we will need a bit more to get the course announced, networked and announced properly.

9. What about Class Supplies?

Maternity Reflexology prefers to ship course manuals prior to the start date. Hosts can choose to hand out these materials on the first day of class or distribute earlier for pre-course studying.

10. How Many Students Can Attend?

In order to open a Maternity Reflexology course, there must be a minimum of 10 people in the class and a maximum of 18/20.

If an association or a network runs a course and a price has been set  for a class, an additional per student fee applies when more than 18 students are enrolled. Hosting a course when a group has been gathered is very cost effective, so you can charge a  group fee.

Contact us for more information.

11. What about Continuing Education Credit?

Students can receive continuing professional development (CPD) or continuing education units (CEU) from national certification organizations. This information will be given to attendants once the course is promoted.

12. How do I Market my Course?

Because of our years of experience working with host clients, we are happy to provide proven marketing ideas. We also would love to list your course on our web site. This is a great way to inform interested candidates where courses are taking place.

Lynne for strip What makes a course successful?
Testi
monial received from Lynne Craighead, Scotland

"....What makes a course successful? The obvious answer to this is the content and how it is presented. Moshe will never let you down on this.  However, there are many other aspects that contribute to the success of the course and this is down to the organiser.  If you enjoy planning, are well organised, have patience and a sense of humour then you will certainly get a great deal of satisfaction from organising a course.

As with most projects this will probably take up more of your time then you think – and there will be people who take up a lot of your time and never attend a course............  However you will meet some lovely, amazing and wonderful people who are truly appreciative of all the work you have done to make their course the best they have ever attended.
Good Luck!!!!!!....."

Fernanda FranciscoThe beginning of an adventure
Testimonial received from Fernanda Francisco, Portugal

"....It was once a mother who sought a way to take responsibility for the health of her children.

There once was a man who tried to return to women and families, tools for self-healing through Reflexology.
Then one day this mother and this man are found in a happy accident, and a challenge for the mother had an immediate response of this man.

That is how Mauricio (Moshe) Kruchik came into my life: by the hand of my love for my children.

It's been a journey of cooperation which has taught me much either on the personal and professional level and allowed me to reach a level of confidence I thought I was not able to achieve. I challenge each of you to spread the work of Mauricio, that many families have returned the confidence to believe in a woman's body and the ability to self-healing of children. Not a job but a mission

I decided to organise this course without any training in maternal health or in Reflexology.  As said before, the idea of organising a Maternity Reflexology Training in Portugal (the first ever training in Portugal in this area) seemed an adventure way beyond my capabilities.

But the reality showed me a different face: that I was able to do that, thanks also to the great confidence Mauricio deposited on me.
The courses are all the time held with classes overbooked and all people happy for having participated.

It was the beginning of an adventure, which today makes me feel a different woman / mother, more confident and with a family much healthier...."

Tracey Griffin IISense of pride that the hard work paid off
Testimonial received from Tracey Griffin, England

"....I co-ordinated a Maternity Reflexology course in Warrington in January 2008, on behalf of Moshe.

Our aim was to reach as many delegates as we could to encourage maternity reflexology to be enjoyed within the sphere of pregnancy.

Co-ordinating the course was basically sending emails to as many people as we could to spread the word.  It was not long before we had enquiries and bookings with deposits being sent to confirm the places we had available.

Having a PA/Secretarial background i did enjoy the interaction with the delegates, confirming places, discussing needs and requirements in terms of maps and directions to the venue.  Also dealing with various venues to negotiate a pricing structure and confirming the smaller details such as refreshments, pens and paper, and also a warm room considering the time of year, this ran very smoothly.

I enjoyed the responsibility that the organisation of this course gave me and with the encouragement and support from Moshe the places were filled up pretty quickly.

The day arrived and the course went smoothly.  The Part I enjoyed most was meeting the women on the course and finding out all about their diverse backgrounds, from nursing to qualified holistic therapist running small successful businesses, from housewives wanting to improve their knowledge and enhance their careers to health professionals.

Having been on the course also gave me a sense of pride that the hard work paid off and the weekend was a huge success.  The weekend was fun, enjoyable, lots of information to take in but what Moshe specialises in is making the weekend very informal and jolly good fun. Plenty of refreshments were on order and we enjoyed a lovely lunch on both days.  This gave us time to reflect on the days events, having some social time and to make contacts for the future.

The course gave the delegates more confidence to progress within their careers and gave me the opportunity to make some new friends and also to support the ladies with any particular specific needs or requirements relating to their personal circumstances.

It was very rewarding to know the course was a success and this was proven by the lovely comments during and afterwards and at a later date via email thanking me for all my hard work and efforts, so this proved to be worthwhile.

I am in contact with most of the delegates from the course and will be contacting them in the future to arrange more fun learning!
I was at a time in my life where my confidence was at a low due to personal circumstances and this gave me the confidence that i needed.

Thank you Moshe and i look forward to working alongside you again in the future....."
