ABOUT THE BOOK AND THE CONFERENCE

The I International Conference on Maternity Reflexology  took place at the Bet Hil HaAvir, Herzliyya, from 11 to 13 October 2009.

It was a thrilling, outstanding experience for all the people who attended the conference.
120 Reflexologists, Midwives and Doulas from all over the world took part of this event.

It was a historic event, a milestone in the history of Reflexology.
For the first time ever a world conference was entirely dedicated to Maternity Reflexology.

Those who attended left the auditorium with a big smile on their faces and hungry for more...
The feedbacks after the conference were superlative.

The three days included lectures with practical demonstrations on stage by speakers and practical workshops on the following fields: Reflexology for Fertility, Pregnancy, Labour, PostPartum and for Infants.
All speakers on stage were Reflexologists, 5 of them also Midwives, 3 of them also Doulas....

In addition, we were honored to host three outstanding professionals: Doula Sivan Ofiri, who has founded an organization whose main purpose is to give support to couples after Stillbirth. Midwife Michal Bonstein, Head of the Homebirth Midwives Association in Israel and Doula Gila Ronel, Head of the academic department of Dyada Parenting and Birth Centre of Tel Aviv.

The present book offers you an opportunity to connect to the rich contents and outcomes of the conference.
